Since January 21, 2013 the OeSD has been issuing a renewed Austrian Driver’s Licence. The new document is even more forgery-proof thanks to innovative security features.

Examples of the new security features of the 2013 driver’s licence:

• Transparent, optic variable security feature as additional protection against forgery of the photo
• Laser-engraved tactile print
• Secondary photo in latent image form
• Micro lettering
